October 16 - 20

Wandering Native is again pleased to partner with Palos Verdes Art Center on an amazing trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. Tour the garden district, dine at a backyard Cajun supper club featured in Saveur and The New York Times, connect with a renowned psychic over cocktails (only good juju) and meet a local shipping heiress in her historic estate for tea and Southern tales of her charmed life. Jazz, music, food and architectural home tours are all part of the experience. October is the best time of year to visit The Big Easy when the weather is mild, the city is relatively calm and the Halloween decorations will be up! Join us October16-20

Tour the historic homes of the garden district and meet a local shipping heiress who will host us for tea (Southern style) and regale us with stories from her incredible life in Europe and as the Doyenne of a civil war mansion. New Orleans is a city of stories, unique characters, and history and we feel very fortunate to be welcomed into a few of New Orleans landmark estates.  Who knows, we might even see a ghost!

Peruse the boutiques at one of New Orleans most famed shopping areas, Magazine Street. This charming street is sure to come alive with Halloween decorations, music and beautiful gifts for the season. Get some Holiday shopping in and come back with something special. We will also be hosted for a private tea at Leontine Linens where we will learn the fine art of table decorating just in time for the Holidays.

Only positive vibes and good juju when you have your reading with this renown psychic. This is all part of the New Orleans experience, where voodoo, vampires, and ghosts are part of the culture. But not to worry for the faint of heart, this reading is more of an energy reading and nothing creepy.
